10:00 AM: Arrive on Gulangyu. The island has no motor vehicles — explore on foot through narrow lanes lined with colonial villas.
10:00-12:00 PM: Walk through the colonial district. Over 1,000 buildings from 13 countries — Britain, France, Germany, Japan, and others — represent one of the world's most concentrated collections of colonial architecture.
12:30 PM: Lunch at a restaurant on the island. Try: Fujian-style seafood and local specialties.
2:00-5:00 PM: Visit the Gulangyu Museum of International Architecture, documenting the island's unique heritage. Then explore the former consulates and villas.
